Each year, hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds come together to experience and participate in the Vivid Sydney Volunteer Program.
About Vivid Sydney 2024
Vivid Sydney is an annual creative festival that showcases the soul of our city, in collaboration with the most brilliant and boundary-pushing artists, thinkers and musicians of our time. Vivid Sydney fuses mesmerising art displays and 3D light projections with exhilarating live music performances, thought-provoking debates and deep-dive discussions from some of the world’s brightest minds. This year, the festival boasts the longest continuous Light Walk in the history of the event, from the Sydney Opera House to Central Station.
We are looking for volunteersA number of voluntary positions are available for the duration of Vivid Sydney, including Festival Information / Ambassadors, Wayfinding & Directional Volunteers, Installation Activity Assistants, Team Leaders and Accessibility Information Ambassadors.
You can expect innovative artists, music makers, thought leaders and culinary creatives, and Vivid Food spotlighting world-class chefs and restaurants

The festival is owned, managed and produced by the NSW Government through Destination NSW.

Volunteering reduces symptoms of depression, improves self-reported health and lowers mortality and is a fantastic way to receive a behind-the-scenes insight to Australia’s largest event and to build new friendships. Vivid Sydney is very appreciative of all volunteers who contribute their time to make the festival one to remember.
