What is the Vivid Sydney 2026 Volunteer Program?
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of the frontline team helping deliver a safe, welcoming and memorable festival experience for visitors across Vivid Sydney 2026 precincts.
Volunteer roles typically include welcoming guests, providing wayfinding and event information, supporting accessibility and inclusion, assisting with queue and crowd flow guidance, and helping precinct operations teams behind the scenes. You’ll receive training, on-shift support, and recognition for your contribution — while gaining hands-on experience at one of Sydney’s biggest major events.

Volunteer eligibility requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Availability for a minimum of 6 shifts during Vivid Sydney 2026 festival period
- Completion of online Induction and attendance at required training/briefings
- Possession of a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Completion of your full Luigi Jobs profile by the face-to-face training day (all required fields and documents uploaded)
Important Dates
- Application / EOI Period: 11th Feb to 16th May 2026
- Interviews / Screening: 30th Mar to 21st May 2026
- Face to Face training: May 2026 (date to be confirmed)
- Event Start: 22nd May 2026
- Event Close: 13th June 2026
- Thank you function: 14th June (minimum requirements apply)
